Default Transfer old game saves to new phone?

I have searched the web far and wide for an answer to my question: is it possible to transfer my game save files from my old Optimus V to my new Moto X? i.e. I want to continue where I left off with my progress in Peggle and Hillclimb.
The Optimus is already rooted, not willing to root my Moto X.

I don't believe there is a way to do it without root. If the game uses the Google Play games API it will sync automatically. Aside from that you will need root to copy app folders to the data partition.
VZW Moto X DE, stock 4.4.4 rooted
Nexus 10, CM11 M
VZW Galaxy Nexus, CM11 M(retired, fancy remote, dash cam, etc)

Helium works for non rooted devices and might work for your game data.

Here's a mobile link on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...ikdutta.backup

I personally haven't tried it on a non rooted device, but can tell you it worked for moving stuff from my S3 to my Moto X, but rooted.

Good luck.
