On my Moto X xt1058 (4.4 rooted with latest Play Services) I am able to get black gmail using an older gmail 4.5.2 apk from the tbo thread:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...83828&page=671

What is did was:

1. uninstall gmail
2. clear cache (using stock bootloader --> recovery)
3. install blackgmail4.5.2.apk.

Seems to work fine...

I cannot get these inverted MMS to work. Keep getting fc, whether I push the apk or flash a zip. Any help?

I use Sliding SMS or 8SMS from the market. Both have an inverted theme. Sliding is less buggy and has some more ui tweaks for me.
