Cyanogenmod Disclaimer
CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 4.4 (KitKat), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.

M-ROM

What's working:
  • Audio, Camera, Network, Wi-fi, Gps, etc etc
  • Notification Light
  • Expandable volumes
  • Cyanogenmod profiles
  • Color calibration
  • Privacy Guard and blacklist
  • SU (out of the box, you don't have to flash anything)
What's not working
  • - compass (will be fixed..)

Instructions:
First time flashing CyanogenMod 11 on your device or coming from another ROM:
(use the latest CWM or TWRP)
  1. Download the zip M-ROM-DATE-mako.zip
  2. Boot into recovery
  3. Wipe all
  4. Flash the zip M-ROM-DATE-mako.zip
  5. Flash GAPPS
  6. Reboot
Download Links:

ROM: from Google Drive, Mega.co.nz,
(you are free to mirror it anywhere)

I use it with full deodexed gapps:
DEODEXED GAPPS: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2397942 (Source: Thanks @Raum1807 )

ODEX GAPPS: http://d-h.st/8PP (Source: Thanks @Imperticus )

Modifications:
  • fix the whatsapp problem with ART ( thanks to @cernekee )
  • Nexus 5 dialer with Caller ID (not AOSP dialer)
  • Wi-fi fix for notifications when the screen is off
  • Fix emoji in Google Keyboard (thanks to @zequav)
  • SMS/MMS app with sliding menu (better than stock for me)
    (i don't know who made this app, but THANKS! (if someone knows pm me), i found the apk in one thread)
  • I'm only at start with the rom... more modifications will come

In the feature i will try to add:
- active display from Chameleon OS
- and maybe i will try with semaphore kernel

I'm not a cyanogenmod developer. I'm a regular Nexus 4 user who want to taste the CM11. It's my first compiled ROM.

Thanks to:
BIG THANKS TO @Raum1807 for the guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2515305
Big thanks to Cyanogenmod
And big thanks for all the Nexus 4 community, I'm very proud to be part of it.

Sorry for my bad english.

Yes, i flash it with gapps and it's working. Wi-fi, bluetooth, sound, gps, etc etc it's working. I don't have time right now to test all the functionality because saturday morning i have an exam, but saturday i will delivery next build.

I think it's good enough to daily use
