Thanks for the quick reply.
I'll go ahead and buy the phone.

I have received 3 packages to my HopShopGo address. The details of the packages are as bellow :

Package 1 :
Actual Weight - 0.18
Volumetric Weight - 0.00
Chargeable Weight - 0.50

Package 2 :
Actual Weight - 0.22
Volumetric Weight - 0.87
Chargeable Weight - 1.00

Package 3 :
Actual Weight - 0.07
Volumetric Weight - 0.00
Chargeable Weight - 0.50

As you could see, The actual weight of the total packages comes to 0.47 kg and the Volumetric weight of the packages is 0.87 kg. But when I consolidate these 3 orders, the chargeable weight comes to 2 kg. These adds a lot to my shipping charges. These packages are very small in size and it wouldn't add much of a weight when consolidated together. But, HSG wont repack the packages. And even if they do, they charge $7 per package..

So, what is soo special of consolidating orders in HSG??

Box was opened for inspection and they noted that there was 2 phones and a bumper. The DHL guy asked me to confirm everything was there before getting my signature.

Ps: Judging by the bill of entry, a LOT of people are importing Nexus 4's from Portland through HopShopGo.

Thats a lot bro....i had nexus4/bumper/screen guard customs and handling came upto 1000
