Confirming this, battery life untested. Download speed doubled from 227.8kB/s to 532.3kB/s. Blue bars on both radios but can only make a stable data connection on 0.27.

Can be done from fastboot

Are you sure you are aware of the possible consequences?

I would not recommend it, but there is a chance it will work since that cmd will push it to the correct partition automatically
