the controler of the battery of APPLE has a starter which allows to charge strongly discharged battery therefore there is no RLoD.
the data folder of the nexus 4 battery is in the battery controler. when your device will be switched off, having shown 0%, tension of the battery will be ~ 3.2-.3.3 V. the controler of the battery will live on it for a long time. it isn't simpler to carry out instructions of the producer?
