White Nexus 4 Return to Sender Request

I ordered a 16gb White Nexus 4 on Friday and it shipped that day.

I got tracking on it today and all of a sudden, roughly twenty minutes ago, a return to sender notice was initiated by Google.

"The shipper has requested a Delivery Intercept for this package. / Return to sender pending."

Has his happened to anyone else? I'm going to call Google to see if I can get an update.

Edit: I got a tracking number Saturday morning and it finally updated today to show its location. I'm on the phone with Google Play to see what's up.

Edit 2: Called Google twice. The first representative forwarded the issue to a specialist and I'll get an e-mail back within 24h-28h. I called them back again to see if a different rep knew something or I'd get a different answer. No dice.

Edit 3: I still haven't received an update from Google although I see some posters have been getting e-mails from support vaguely implying some sort of delay or error. http://www.droid-life.com/2013/06/04...order-is-fine/

At least one poster in the thread received an 8gb model via UPS today, so it's only the 16gb model affected by the issue.

16gb model still appears out of stock on the US Google Play site as of this update.

Same with me. White 16 GB.

"The shipper has requested a Delivery Intercept for this package. / Return to sender pending."

First level of Google customer service has no idea. Waiting for a call back from them.

I just got off the phone with Google and the first level of support didn't have any idea either. The case was forwarded to another department and they'd have an answer within 24-48h.

The 16gb Nexus 4 White is listed as "Temporary Out of Stock" on the Google Play store. I wonder what's really up. I'm glad it's not just me.

Maybe they found an issue. So they are trying to make sure no one gets a faulty product ?

i ordered mine on saturday, white 16gb and mine still hasn't shipped out yet. so I am somewhat concerned. If it doesn't ship out by the end of tomorrow, I'm gonna have to call Google and ask what's up...

This is disturbing news, ordered mine Saturday, 16GB White, says it should ship Tuesday, Geez, I guess we'll see what happens.

Check your tracking numbers again. Mine just went back to normal delivery, no hold on it.

Mine's still on hold. I'll check again in an hour or so. That's good to hear they unfroze yours though.

Mine is still showing that it will be delivered tomorrow. Hopefully there is no issue as I have already sold my current phone and I have nothing to use unless this shows up!
