Flyme OS now out!!

It looks like a test version of Flyme 4.5 has now been released, based upon Android Lollipop 5.0.2:

Direct download link: http://pan.baidu.com/share/link?shareid=364651755&uk=2972661661

Please note, I am not the creator of this rom and I do not know who created this, all I know is that someone has made it so I am not sure where the original forum link is or what bugs there are. All I am doing is sharing this rom. Enjoy :good:

Did work with patchrom... not a very complex job but its not yet fully "fool-proof"

AOSP 5.0 as base
The thing is, its got issues in patching of framework.jar

Patching process makes it exceed maximum methods allowed in a Dex file. I did manually split the smali files (since Lollipop supports multi-dex natively) and the ROM even got successfully compiled. But it has two issues:

1) The updater-script comes out to be wrong. Some symlinks and permissions are broken.
2) Bootloop. And even though I enabled debugging in kernel and ROM, its still not taking up boot-time logs. SO I dont even have a logcat that could tell me about problem. Also, I do think that the way I split the smali files could be causing it (although both the dexes are in same jar). A confirmation would help.

Last kmesg doesnt show any error, so I guess everything is fine on kernel side. Editted out updater-script so it flashes fine. But the problem is bootloop and unability to get logcat.

If anyone is interested to work with me, I can post my build here :)

Alternatively, I am also unable to download from baidu (lol). Would definitely like to have a look at link by @22sl22

Im giving this a shot , excited to try this.
Edit:

I never ported a ROM before. I just wanted to throw some ideas to support the project.
but maybe I can get a bit into it like learning by doing. let's see.

    sent from my paranoid N4
