Question [Q] AOSP or CM base?

How can I tell if a ROM is AOSP or CM base as the kernels are usually separated as such?

Some devs indicate that, but if they don't then is there a way to tell?

I am particularly looking at this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexu...m-2-4-t2581007

Thanks.

Well the most accurate way is to ask if the rom is CM based....

I think Mahdi is CM based, but im not 100% sure
Phone: [White] LG Nexus 4 16GB

Thanks guys for the quick response. I guess for every ROM there's always someone who has asked the question already.
