Default Dropped my Nexus and cracked screen..no touch response

Hi, so unfortunately I dropped my N4 on concrete yesterday and the screen took a hit..worst of all, there is zero touch response.
So I was looking at eBay and I can order the new screen/display part for $55 and follow the DIY tutorial on YouTube...or there is also just the glass/digitizer on eBay for $20. Will the latter option work?

Otherwise I'll just order the entire unit.
Thanks!

You can but it will be hard to separate the two and then glue it together, I would just buy the display.

Yeah I found out and don't want to do it at all. Also, even if I order the LCD I still have to take off the glass and old display...I'll order it though.
Thanks for your help.

I agree with you. I had the same thing happened to me, and tried just removing the glass, and cracked the LCD.
