Question [Q] Dumping a Nexus 4 data to another.

Hello everyone,

I had a tech problem with my Nexus 4 and Google sent me a new one (battery weakened).
I would like to backup everything from the old one and put it on the new to have exactly the same thing on both phones. Thus to compare battery life on both at the same time.

E.g i'd like to move all the settings, the apps and the apps data to the new phone.

Do you think this would work ? http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1420351

The old one is a rev11 and the new one is a rev10.
Both are not rooted and on stock ROM.

Use Helium backup too just in case it doesn't work. It does not require root

The most reliable way would be to do a nandroid. It would be a complete image of the current setup, only problem is you'd need an unlocked bootloader.

Otherwise, ADB backup is the way to go.
