Lost my internal storage

So I rooted and lost half my internal storage ... If I flash a ROM and then flash the stock recovery wipe cache and factory reset should I be able to get my memory back ?

So you have a 32gb device but you only have 16 now? You didn't reboot after you unlocked the bootloader did you? A factory reset in the stock recovery should fix that

why flash a new rom? did you already tried to just factory reset?

No i had a 16 and only ended up with less than 8 ... And no i didn't reboot after unlock ... I did try the whole stock recovery deal and it didn't work

Try flashing the userdata.img in fastboot.

So just fastboot flash userdata userdata.IMG? Tells me it cannot load the image

Did you use .IMG or.img? It should be the lower case

I used .img see fastboot says its not recognizing my device but i did a driver test and it succeeded ... I don't understand

Do you have the userdata image file? You need to unzip the factory image and in the is another zip that needs to be unzipped

I have no idea what's going I'm stock factory reset and its still telling me I only have like 5 gigs of internal memory
