Hello all, I did not replace anything in my phone and I have the same problem: poor battery, poor signal and I notice that my phone is getting very hot with downloads.

Sent from my Nexus 4 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

Looks promising
Charge was normal. Discharge is maybe little bit faster but I had poor radio and wifi signal. I bought battery from China for 15$.
Anyway I have no symptoms anymore.

It seems that my problems are history
I will need few days to test the battery but I am satisfied if I can get 24h from it, which seems like possible.
I have very bad radio and wifi signal at work so my battery drains little bit faster. Anyway I am waiting for Nexus6 so I guess
the battery will do till then. I bought it on ebay.

Nice one Rajnus.

Right I will order one also and see what happens for me also.

Did you fit it yourself? If so how easy/hard was it?

You have videos on youtube. With this battery I got a kit for replacement. From China to Austria takes 17 days.

Same here, just replaced the battery in my wife's phone last night. Left it on all night, now its at 40% charge, and so far, so good!

Before this, if it would get below 50% or 60% the phone would just go crazy and shut itself off, and then we'd need to charge it for 4 hours just to get it working again.

Hi all,

yeah well just top close this off I have also changed my battery.....and it SEEMS to be back to normal and working fine.

Battery was faulty for sure, had a funny sweet smell and I think it had leaked a bit.

Well done all lets hope thats it sorted....and I can wait for the Nexus 6

Just wanted to chime in that I had similar issues. The phone was dropping signal, losing saved WiFi information, and shutting off randomly around 40-50% battery. It basically was unusuable unless left plugged in most of the time. I pulled the cover off and the battery was bulging severely. Bought a new one on amazon for 13 dollars and it took care of everything!
