Default Notification LED timeout

I had this on galaxy s2 and it was implemented kernel side, if I remember correctly. It allowed me to set the time after which the notification LED would turn off globally, for all notifications.

Has anybody implemented this for Nexus 4?

I think you need a custom rom or a custom kernel to get the future.

Yeah but I'm not able to find any kernel supporting it.
