[Q] PA 4.0 beta "status 7" error

Unhappy [Q] PA 4.0 beta "status 7" error

I want to boot PA4.4 but I get error (status 7)
"set_metadata_recursive : some changes failed
E:Error in /sdcard/rom/pa/paranoid.zip (Status 7)
Installation aborted."


Im stuck in recovery mode.
what can I do?

Are you running the latest recovery?

don't think so.. how can I install the latest recovery when im stuck in recovery mode??

Are you running a custom recovery or stock?

You cannot use stock recovery to flash a custom ROM.

You'll need to install a custom recovery such as TWRP or CWM.

I suggest you unlock the bootloader, flash the TWRP or CWM, and then flash a custom rom.

sorry I have a custom recovery.. what can I do?

CWM not the latest version.. I dont how to update when im stuck in recovery mode

Download the latest TWRP or CWM img file. Put the phone in fastboot mode, connect it to your computer, make sure the drivers are properly installted, and type fastboot flash recovery name_of_file.img.
