Default Proximity sensor probably broken. Whenever I'm in a call, the screen shuts down

4.4.4 , unrooted. This problem started recently, around the time I've patched it to 4.4.4 and uninstalled Gravity Screen App (through the app, as developer intended)

I've installed Sensor Test, the proximity sensor reads are fixed, and don't change when I move my hand by the speaker values are (1 used to 0 value too):
0: 0.0
1: -0.0079956
2: 4.5E-44

so I suppose it's broken, and I have to disable it. How do I do that?
In another thread the answer was ( Thread.)
Quote:
Increase the minimum CPU speed in your ROM (it's probably set to 300mhz or lower). That will stop this bug from happening.
, but my phone isn't rooted and I don't know how to change CPU speed.

Default fixed. Cleaned screen

Probably just a speck on the sensor.
