After just redoing mine I also found it helpful to run your fingers down the edges once you're done. Helps the sp adhere to the curves

Definitely should squeegee the water to the side and away from any openings in the the phone and if you think you may get some water in any turn the phone off and leave it off for an hr or so. Kind of common sense, you're putting eater near an electronic device. Be careful. I've reapplied mine at least 5 times and never had a problem and I'm very shaky. Hope it dries up and heals itself!

It will sound normal after a while. Just let the water dry up.

I have had my extreme guard full body on for about a month and it is awesome. I can barely tell it is on my phone on most occasions.

The speaker went back to normal. The rubber feeling everyone talks about i dont even feel it. And with the poetic bumper i dont even know it has a sp. Looks awesome.

I read good reviews of this screen protector from XDA and decided to buy 3 because of the discounts. First time I tried to apply it, bubble everywhere. I pull it off and try wet apply, much better. After letting it sit over night I decided to use it as normal. After 3 days normal using the corner came off due to putting the phone in my pocket. I wear somewhat baggy pants so there's no excuse of the corner coming off. I ripped it off and try another new one. Same thing happened. This time It lasted a week. What a piece of crap. Because the screen protector has a rubbery feel, my fingers doesn't glide as easily. I finally had it and ripped it off and throw my last screen protector in the trash. Worst screen protector EVER. Stay away.

Have you found a better wet application SP that fits your needs?

When I think of it, it gives me nightmares lol. Hope anyone can help me with that?
Like alot have said, squeegee put to the sides. Also, I've used can air to lightly blow put water from the earpiece, microphones, and side bezels. Just do do it too close or too much pressure, I'm sure you can damage the mics.
