What's the difference between this mod and the App on Google Play? The App was just updated on Dec. 5th.

I actually do see a real impact on volume and tone. Pretty easy to tell when I enable and disable different features the audio changes. Very similar (if not exactly the same) to the galaxy nexus mod I had been using for months before I got this device.
ROM: aokp nightlies
Faux123 kernel
Lab rat here as well.

Just flashed this mod. The volume is definitely louder and I love the music player app.

But its really confusing setting everything up for the best performance. I'm probably just a noob at this stuff but is there some kind of FAQ available somewhere that explains all the settings and how they work together and maybe a few optimum configs?

You mean Eizo?

V1Beta2 will be uploaded soon after @GchildT and @raycaster3 give their feedback, if anything this has a few bump-ups.

Instructions:

1) Flash the revert from V1Beta1
2) Flash this next

Good to go!

Changelog:

-AOSP/Stock based ROMS only. For now.
-Fixed random hiccups over audio
-Fixed low static sounds
-Loudness increase
-Updated version of EIZO 2.0.1.8

Although some have reported it working on Unofficial AOKP

@tatltael Fair enough, I'll do so later today and post some EIZO Settings too. Noozy too perhaps.

Note, these settings on EIZO work best on my ears end. Not everyone has the same ears but this should serve as a guideline on you customizing your own for your own listening experience. If you replicate these settings then complain, I will shoot you.

Good gracious! I didn't think it would be THAT much better. Sounds fabulous. Seriously love it.
You're right. If someone says this does nothing they gotta either be smoking rocks or didn't get it installed/enabled properly. HUGE improvement over stock. And even better than v1.
