Installed via multirom. I noticed there is no email app. Is that included or did something go wrong during flashing?

That is normal. The email app just points to gmail which is a unified email box now

Hum... I typically freeze/disable google services to increase my battery life (along with maps, playstore etc.) and remove gmail altogether. I use the stock AOSP email apk. Is this not an option anymore?

Thanks!
