With tablet fully idle for 13h, magnet cover detection on which disables all dt2w and s2w I'm getting .9% battery drain /hour

Is that normal?

I've been trying to update the touchscreen driver with r20 and it's not working. I haven't tried one of your kernels before this so it may just be that I'm not doing something right.

What I did:
  • adb shell into my N7
  • cat /sys/devices/i2c-3/3-0010/vendor, gives ELAN_KTF3K_xa044
  • echo "/storage/sdcard0/fw/A011.b" > /sys/devices/i2c-3/3-0010/update_fw, no error
The touchscreen would stop responding shortly after. I gave it 5 minutes to do whatever, then rebooted.

After reboot I checked vendor again, still says ELAN_KTF3K_xa044. Reboot again after waiting another 5 minutes and it's still the same.

Not the most descriptive instructions on CTCaer's thread, but I believe it should've worked. Did I do anything wrong? Missed something?

Looks like the issue lies in the patch itself because there's people complaining about the issue as well in his thread.

After flash this kernel, my touchscreen is sometimes not working. I have never had error like this with stock kernel. How to fix it? Thanks! I love DT2W feature

Funny,I have always had touch issues since day one. Flashed this kernel and so far all touch problems are gone.
