^^ This. If you're using 4.2 gapps, it'll cause all sorts of FCs.
To turn on FC notifications, go into dev options and enable it at the bottom. They're disabled by default.

Closing the thread. Just wanted to say thanks to all of the users that stuck with this ROM for so long, and those who continue to use it. Below is a link to my DB folder that contains all of the methods needed to port MIUI v4 from the crespo to the crespo4g, and includes a README to sort of guide you through it. Keep in mind that this will not work for v5, but it's a good starting point if you want to learn.
