how about the double size batteries ? i know they make the phone thicker, but that would not mater to me that much

anyone tested the capacity, they claiming to be 3800 but somehow i doubt that, i'm just curious if it has enough extra juice , like 2800 would still do it for me, but less then 2000 i dont think so for the extra size

they are also dirt cheap, witch is a plus for me

on the subject "gold batteries" a year ago i got a phone from china it came with batteries from the same manufacturer, same sticker, same font used, the same style how the sentences where divided.. phone came with 2 batteries, each supposedly 1700mah , lets just say the phone could not even stay on standby for more then 24 hours and it was a very simple (low performance) phone ... so i personally would newer buy/trust any batteries from that "gold" brand

I admit I have been naive in buying this battery but I bought it before I read about this thread here. I'll give you guys my impressions when I receive it. If it can AT LEAST hold the same battery time as my stock battery than I still think it's worth it for $20. Better than dishing out $100 for Samsung's OEM battery.

But have you bought any to see if they were good?

My battery from e_cell Ultra-High Capacity Samsung AB653850CE Gold Battery - 2430mAh actually came a few days ago and I have been monitoring closely how it fairs compared to my Samsung OEM battery. After a few days, I can conclude that this does not contain 2430 mAh. Though at the very least it contains 1600 mAh or more.

Regardless of it's 2430 mAh rating, it's still a good deal for $20 shipping included.

Using
I don't have the time to do a full battery drain but I've drained my battery for one hour and from here you can extrapolate.

Details:
WiFi ON
Data OFF
Screen Brightness: Level 19 (Custom Brightness)
Sync OFF
Screen ON 1 Hr
Battery Drain 19% (81% from 100%)

I can get 4-5 hours of on-screen time.
