Air Kernel 4.0: without modifying anything in my daily routine
- it felt snappier and responsive definitely great
- but battery was 30% shorter life. I used 4.0 for 5 days and all 5 days I ran out of juice in the evenings where before this was unheard of. I tried Smartass2 and Ondemand. Ondemand had a liiiiiitle more battery left. Also it seemed much more juice was used while on 3G than before. Also the wifi signal reported was weaker.

Overall: snappier and feeling fast but.....5 days in a row running out of juice was HUGE PAIN!!! I never EVER used to carry a charger.

I removed Air Kernel 4.0 and now testing Franco. But gotta tell you, franco's kernel has a lot more glitches. (i am on my 2nd day).

Can i have a link to franco's kernel? I would try it

Maybe it's because of the default governor & i/o scheduler of the weekly . It's set to conservative / noop , while stable builds comes with Ondemand / cfq or deadline .

Try changing the governor & I/O to Ondemand / deadline.

Btw , weekly build running fine with Slim ICS 3.5

Is there anything in the new weekly that could fix the reboot issue with the last weekly?
