Hi

I am trying to upgrade my nexus S 2.3.1 to 4.0.4. It gives me error error in /tmp/sideload/package.zip (status 7).

Can someone please help. My phone is unlocked.

Thanks

Try an updated recovery and make sure your ROM is for your phone..

use rom manager to easily install the latest 6.0.4.3 CWM (if i not mistaken) to flash the new rom. Your recovery is probably outdated. Otherwise you can flash the latest philz recovery from nexus s android development forum.
