I am completely new to ROMs, flashing and all so my apologies in advance if I ask stupid questions or need help with the simplest stuff!
Anyways, I got a Samsung GT-i9020 from a friend who apparently had rooted the phone previously and also installed ClockworkMod Recovery. The issue now is that when I start up the phone, I see the clockworkMod Recovert v3.0.2.4 black and orange words screen and I honestly have no idea where to go from there in order to get it to work properly. My friend is too busy to help me at the moment so I have been trying to look for a way to resolve this problem via help here if possible! I tried 'wipe data/factory reset' and after it did so, it brought me back to the same screen. Tried 'apply update from sdcard' and 'install zip from sdcard' but both gave me an error message stating the file could not be found.
Any ideas on where I should go from here to get the phone to function properly again?
