Just tap a few times on Build Number in About Phone.

Yes, but they include these kinds of commits in their builds before they are merged into CM source.

Well yes, the first revisions of this commit were submitted around a month ago. They just cherry-picked those and merged them. I don't think this is a good idea though.

Would you still benefit from Google's Low Mem Device optimization when you click this option or is this the same as changing the low mem flag to false?

I am pretty sure I've seen a dev comment something saying that it's not the same. The low_ram enhancements remain and you only get transparent statusbar.

I use false and not get transparent status bar also with this I get transparent notification panel ,lock screen widget and google hotword...
no effect on performance !
