Post [Q] Battery drain on different DPI settings

everyone keeps suggesting that DPI should not affect my battery life, my nexus S has 240 default DPI. I tried changing it to only 220 and noticed a huge spike in battery drain...
Can anyone explain why and confirm the same problem

I use 213 and haven't noticed any change in battery life from stock??..

will try the same one, maybe 220 is a bad choice, and post my thoughts

i use 182 in dpi setting and no matter with the battery life..
