[Q] USB OTG - Can't get usb storage working, Xbox 360 controller works though?
Been having a lot of difficulty with this.
I've read and followed instructions regarding this but am totally stuck.
I have a USB Y cable to provide power (like the top picture in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexu...b-otg-t2181820
), and have also got the following:
- Running Android 4.2.2 (Cyanogen Mod 10.1.2), but have also tried Android 4.3 and 4.0.1
- Matr1x kernel (says it should have USB OTG support)
- USB Host Controller 0.44 app
Unfortunately I'm not allowed to post an outside link as I don't have enough posts, but I've taken screenshots of the USB Host Controller pages, and nothing suggests it wouldn't work:
Connecting a Microsoft Xbox 360 controller shows up in the connected devices section fine, but trying a USB stick doesn't work.
I've tried 4GB, 8GB, 64GB sticks that I have, none of which show up, or even have their lights come on.
I've also tried FAT 32, NTFS and exFAT, none of which work...
Does anyone have any ideas..? I'm totally out...
Greatly appreciate any help!
