I've been using LPP for years now, and I love some of the features...

Now that I'm on ICS, I really miss the calendar widget (since it is the FC culprit).

My question is - do any of these other launchers have the following features:
  • Swipe gesture on the dock icons - I use this to show notifications because my 160 density makes my notification bar pretty small and difficult to grab.
  • Resize widgets - I like to run 5x7, and always re-size my digital clock widget so it's centered.
  • Custom icons in the dock - self explanatory...

...and lastly, if multiple alternative launchers have all of these features - which one is better (and why)?

Thanks in advance!

I'm a fan of ADW launcher. The pro version is definitely worth the money. The only thing that LPP has on ADW is the widgets and you can get Android Pro Widgets if you want them.

I used to love LPP but it's pretty much dead now, unfortunately.

Just try the combo of Apex Launcher (Play Store)
- swipe gestures on homescreen to show notifiction bar are configurable
- widget resizing
- custom icons
and Android Pro Widgets (Play Store), which I think has all the widgets LPP has as LPP widget themes also work for APW.

delete data/cache from your play store app. if that doesn't work, log out of your google acct & log back in. this is a common error that is usually corrected by one of those steps.

I cleared the data on play store and no - go, and I didn't find a way to log out of play store, but I found it by googling it It works nice. Now I have my LauncherPro Plus VERY similar to what I had it. Only difference I noticed was instead of scrolling with the finger I need to press the little arrows on the bottom section, no biggie.

Thanks.
