I think this app is pretty handy when I need it (like opening the door in the dark).
May try "momentflash" (I used it on Behold II and hopefully it will work with NS).

I bought SwitchPro Widgets, it has a flashlight function, I'll see if it works with the NS, if not, I'll email the developer.

I tried two so far:
nexus one flash: light doesn't turn on
momentflash: it is not supported

doesn't use the flash as a flashlight

Installed it and it worked.

Update: TeslaLED also works. The key is to get flashlight for Fascinate or Epic.

Widgetsoid works too but make sure you set the "Flash led" option to "Method 2" in the settings.
