Do a nandroid backup and test to see if it does. I'm on stock rooted 4.0.4 and have been using the same mod in this thread since 4.0.3 without any issues.

try this circle battery mod with centerclock for stock 404 rom.
make a backup first and flash with cwm or recovery !

cm9 has 50% transparency status bar. Is it possible mod it to stock 404 rom?
