Since I'm a self-proclaimed Nook Touch Android developer, I can't help but have seen and used the hidden Development settings option on my NSTG. Everything seems to work fine, except for "Keep screen awake". It doesn't matter when I do it, how I do it, or anything else you can imagine - my screen still sleeps when charging. I know I can use ES Task Manager and set the screen timeout to "Never", but I'd rather not. I'd rather get this little setting fixed!

Can anyone give me a hand here?

B&N massacred a bunch of stuff in the Nook.
One of the things is waking up every week or two to contact the home planet.

So the simple answer is "It's not broken, B&N just made it not functional"?
