Question [Q] Black Screen after Samsung Galaxy Note II Splash Screen

Hello!

Last night I attempted to flash my Note II SCH-I605 that was running 4.4.2.
This is what it came loaded with.
I used this custom load to flash it: root66_VZW_stock_system.tar.md5
Now it will only boot to the Samsung Galaxy Note II splash Screen.
After this it only goes to a black screen and will not boot any further.
I did not know that this version of Android has a locked boot loader.
I have tried to clear Cache and Erase Data/Factory reset.
It ALWAYS says "Error" right before rebooting.

Now, when I attempt to flash it back this is what I get:

Can someone please walk me through the steps on how to get this resolved?

Talking Fixed it!!!

I followed jadon0827's advice in this posting:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2788925

And my Phone booted back up!

Now I just have to pour through everything on here to see if I can root my phone from a 4.4.2 stock image.
Unless someone would like to save me some time and tell me if it can be done for sure...
