Give this a try, we need to find out if the MEID file is corrupted. Go to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/note...menus-t2816159
download Galaxy tools apk to your desktop. Connect device via USB to PC, click open to internal SD Card, copy and paste Galaxy tools there. Now, disconnect and reboot device. Go to settings, general, application manager, swipe to ALL, then look for Galaxy tools. Click on it, it may ask if you want to install from unknown source click yes or ok, then click install. Open the menu and click on IOTHIDDENMENU, then click ##DATA#Menu, then click VIEW, then click ADVANCED. The first two sets of numbers will be MEID-DEX-HEX, and ESN write them down and see if they match the sticker under the battery on the case of your device. This is a great app just be careful what you click on.
EDIT: There is a faster way click on settings, general, about device, status. MEID, IMEI, MIN, S/N all in there. Check and see if they match up.
