Yes, even for retirees you get the discount. Just provide them your DD Form 214.

Awesome, I just jumped ship from Verizon and since I didn't have a .mil email anymore Verizon stopped my discount. Good to know. Thanks buddy

Now lowered to zero percent. Yay.

They sent me a card to verify my employment status for my corp discount. Course I couldn't verify it. LOL.
