[Q] Note 3 Rooted, Tried Unlocking, Unsuccesful at all attempts

Can someone please help me? I have rooted my Note 3 and have tried SIM unlocking it with CHainfires region unlocker as well as the one where you enter the *# number. None of them have worked. I am at a loss. The one with Chainfires app tells me it is done but when I reboot it it still asks for unlock code. THe other way with the *# number, none of the options are in the menu that I am supposed to be able to access. PLEasE help. I am going crazy here.Thanks in advance.
