Be Safe
Hey guys,

Sorry if this has already been said.
I have the beats edition 4501ra I used King Root a few months ago. I was able to get root but the superuser program installed with it looks untrustworthy.
I opened up OS monitor and was able to see where the super user program was connecting to and it was the Chinese Government main ISP. I don't know enough maybe every web address coming from\to China goes to this group of IP's but yeah be careful you are granting a program full root access to your phone which has outbound connections to China.

Going to try Kingo root now.

Tried Kingo Root
Worked really well. Connects to New Jersey so no sophisticated hacking cells just guideos and Snookie.

Ok so I am not a power android user.. but there is tons of useful information here and I will share my experience.

I installed root using moboroot and instructions provide here. However I started to wonder how safe it was using this chinese root.
So my fears got the best of me and I just wanted to be on the SuperSU team like everyone else. Just to make sure my information is not being leaked to the web via keyloggers or who knows what else these installed King apps do. And its weird that even after removing the apk and files it still trys to leave traces and redirect my browser........ even asking permissions from my browser to do who the hell knows what.

Anyways so I tried SuperSU Me PRO a few times. This was with Purify and KingRoot latest build onboard. SuperSU Me was not able to retain the root.
So here is what I did. I just let SuperSU delete all of King Root from my tablet. Then I went and completely did a factory reset. I came in to a fresh android with nothing but the new fresh install of KingRoot onboard. (This time fresh and untouched to this point)
Right away installed SuperSU ME Pro and then let it do its thing. It did everything swiftly and kingroot was now dead. Then it installed Super SU to sytem.
After asking it to do normal settings, it then said SUCCESFUL ROOTED..... then it prompted me to reboot. VOILA root and SuperSU on fresh android 4.4.3

SO for me the fresh install of just King and SuperSU Me did the trick. Not sure what KingUser was doing to prevent SuperSU from taking over. I tried for 30 mins until I decided to wipe the tablet and start fresh. Sorry for long post. lol Here is the instructions directly from SuperSU Me.

If you want other root methods supported, email me..
Note 4 users, this will fight for your right for root !! (Warning: Do NOT remove apps from /system/apps or /system/priv-app or it could cause issues. Block them instead from either the command line or with Debloater)
Also, Note 4 users, turn OFF automatic updates in the Playstore, because it will uninstall and reinstall this app during an update and when that happens you will lose protection.

Kingo Root users, if after you run the app and you see it re-launch and ask for SuperSU permission, the app might hang after you press the Big Blue button on Stage 2, just force close the app and run it again, it should then run fine.
Soft reboot button built into the program on the upper right, under the context menu / 3 dots..
(KingRoot 4.1 users, install this AFTER you have rooted with KingRoot !!)
KingRoot 4.5 should work, but if you experience issues, follow the KingRoot 4.1 instructions above.
Sony Xperia Z3 users, if you find that after you run the app after rooting with KingRoot 4.1 upon a reboot, that your system loops on the home screen crashing, you need to boot into recovery, factory reset and then when the phone comes up, you go to the PlayStore and install SuperSU and you should find that you are completely rooted with SuperSU and no signs of KingRoot exist.

(Kingo Root users / KingRoot 4.5 users just install it and run it)
If you are running an older version of KingRoot, prior to 4.1, you need to upgrade it prior to running this for best results.
Guys, please leave a review so I can get a feeling of how the program is working.. If I ask you to email me and you do not, don't complain about it not working for you. I will work with you to resolve the issue.

So unfortunately the rooting methods available to most Android users has diminished over time. Fortunately there are some good rooting programs available though. One of these is Kingroot. While it is good at doing what it is intended to do, we do not know for sure all of the information it is collecting and sending to China. So with all of that said, this program will remove all of the Kingroot applications and associated binaries and install SuperSU and allow you to update the su binary, etc..

This is the process that you MUST follow in order for this to be successful prior to KingRoot 4.5:
* Once your device is rooted install this application, do not install it prior !!
If you have temp root and are on KingRoot prior to 4.5 you will need to reboot your device first, re-root with KingRoot and then install this application AFTER you are rooted and run it.
If you are on KingRoot 4.5 or higher you should be all set to just install it and run it at any time after root.
Also, please do not rate this low without giving me the opportunity to respond to you in an email first.

I also changed to supersu since kingroot looked suspicious. I am sure it is fine, but I prefer to be able to read and understand in english. Get titanium and delete all of the extra apps and keyboards both moborobo and king root installs. I managed to unlock the bootloader and modify the twrp recovery for the tegra note for the hp slate. Now I can install the supersu binary if I need to factory reset with the need for moborobo and kingroot.

Can I get rid of King root and root without factory reseting? I tried getting rid of an old version of King root with supersume and it didn't work. Gets rid of root
