[Q] OmniROM with custom boot option.

Here is my idea, right before the boot animation is loaded, you will get a menu, working by touch or physical buttons and this menu will let you choose between booting into full omnirom for everyday use or boot into the same thing except 95% of the functions are disabled and the only wo things that work are phone and messages. this would become very useful to keep battery life for a long period of time while still being available on phone. I am a bit new to the scene of android roms and I don't know if this is in any way possible. I'd like to get your opinions on this and if you are better than me maybe tell me if this is possible.
