Um. UEFI is a boot environment. It came with Windows 8 (PC) as an update to bios. So I'm gonna assume windows phone boots using a UEFI supporting bootloader.

Here's where I'm confused. Of all these volunteers with Windows M8s, why has no one thought to tell them to extract their bootloader and post it for us to try and flash through ADB then attempt to flash the RUU?

If multi boot supports UEFI that's another place to start. Clearly the main if not only issue left to tackle is the bootloader, at least until we see if flashing this RUU yields optimum results

Flashing RUU DOES NOT work, I tried, I failed. The biggest problem is to get UEFI on the Android M8, or Hboot on the WP M8. Also we have to worry about the partition layouts too, in case there are big differences between 2 OSes. I have some materials and resources on theoretical way to achieve this, but I haven't done it yet (also out of the fear of bricking my only phone). I'll aggregate the resources and make a post about how to get Android and WP on the M8s
