[Q] Root without HTC??

Hi,

i just wanted to know if there is a way, or even someone working on a way to unlock the bootloader without HTCdev.
Becuase i really would like to get root permision, but htc needn't know that

Now? we have got TWRP recover and SuperSU 2.01. And also Kernels with System partition read-write mode. We haven`t got S-Off? it`s not good

Is there any progress on s-off without HTC?? I really would like to see a methode to root my phone without HTCDev.

don't see a problem going with htcdev. its safer. but even if you use another program, the "bootloader" will still show (tampered). there's a few tutorials how to removed this but not sure if available M8 mini
