Can I flash it with Cyanogen Recovery ?
Bootloader locked, I'm on stock 44S.

I don't think so. You will get error 7 while flashing. Unlock bootloader,install TWRP and flash it.

I had a terrible battery life here even after fixing the play services update. Went from v2.5 to the one before and same issue. Reverted back to stock and my battery life is amazing again. I don't understand what could be the cause:/

If you rebooted, that's why. Enabling the service through that app doesn't survive a reboot.

download disable service from the play store once you grant it root access go to system then google play services , tick SystemUpdateService .

If I want to go back to stock 05Q from unofficial 12.1, I should first flash the 05Q extras? Thats all, or?
