My build.prop wasn't the correct one. I accidently made a backup after I changed DPI for the first time, so my "original" build.prop is original, but contains the wrong DPI. Can you tell me what was the originial one? I remember 4xx?

I have the same problem, just finished to download the stock ROM, I was looking for the build.prop inside the system.img but I cannot open the file.

Here is the original build.prop , just remove the txt extension.
I resolved with this method:
Download the file in this 3d on the pc and unpack:

Download supersu on phone SDcard:

Restore system.img and recovery.img
Reboot the phone, go to Developer setting and uncheck "Update recovery CM", make the OTA, reboot.
Now flash your preferred recovery:
TWPR
PHILZ
Reboot into recovery and flash supersu.
This procedure is 100% tested, you will not lose any data, just have to reinstall custom system app.
I don't know if restoring just the original build.prop works.

Try first restoring just the build.prop if doesn't work restore the stock recovery, if fail try the entire procedure.

I did not found the error so I reflashed system.img
it is intalling the OTA right nowOne silly question: are you Linus Torvalds?

Ok I am on this at present posted screenshot - Can I flash OTA as well - Also can anyone advise which is most stable and updated ROM for OPO right now. Issue with this one is real poor quality on loudspeaker while on calls.

6Here's the new update that came out today - XNPH25R. This has the assert junk removed so you can flash it in TWRP.
NOTHING has been changed in this other than the ability to flash it in TWRP.
Reboot to recovery, flash .zip. Reboot to system. Nothing fancy required. *Flash SuperSU if you want root access.

I couldn't tell you. I got a notification that an update was available, tapped install and it booted into twrp and installed the update. I had to reinstall xposed but kept root and twrp.

The downloaded OTA is located in \cache and can be flashed trough TWPR. Unfortunately I get an error of missing apks in \system due to deleting some of them (CM File Manager, PrintSpooler, ...).
I'll try to throw them back to \system and retry flashing.
Nope nope nope, doesn't work. He says blabla build.prop because of changed DPI, but it gave me an error on executing the update binary anyway.
This is what happens when you try to flash the original OTA .zip in TWRP. When flashing the provided zip in OP I don't get an error but like everybody said it doesn't update to 25.1Ahahha I use this nickname since 1996
