Yes, it mostly fixes the touchscreen problems, but:
Been waiting for days for new version without battery drain. Something like that should be patched within 24 hours! Why are we still waiting?

1) So does even Franko R43 have battery drain issue..?
2) I couldn't bear the touchscreen issues, so knowing the battery drain, I flashed Nightlies (CM12.1 20150517) which resolved the touchscreen issue but heavy battery drain and heating issue. Now I want to know, does Franco or AK solve the issue properly as they have synaptic update..? If so, which is better..?
3) As a flashaholic, I want to know, does this will get a permanent solution so that I can flash and experience different ROMs as I used to before..?
The fix is include in a kernel. If you use AK or similar that include the fix, you can probe.
I got my phone maybe a month after it was released. After exactly 4 months the touchscreen input died and lost all sensitivity. Typing became impossible. After going back and fourth with support for 2 months they finally sent me another one. The new one was excellent for EXACTLY FOUR MONTHS!! Almost to the DAY! My damn touch is broken again and I can't type. I'm furious! I'm also 1wk outside warranty.
With the first phone I tried every hack, crack, rom, reformat, anything I could find. Nothing would restore the touch. I assume it's a hardware issue. I've been looking around for a solution but haven't found anything. If there is anything, I would appreciate some direction.
Sorry for everyone that ever wasted their money on OnePlus, I won't be getting any more products from them...

8EDIT 1: I used PayPal Buyers protection to get my money back and I sent the device back to Oneplus one. So as from today I don't have this device anymore
EDIT 2: I orderd a device again made on 20/09/2014 and Haven't had a single swipe, ghost touch etc (Previous one was made on 15/06/14)
EDIT 3: The device made on 20/09 started getting ghost swipes a well, now It's the same this as with the previous device!!
Edit 4: Both devices started having this after a really hot day!

I am pretty sure that they will not be able to fix this. With my Xiaomi I hoped for a patch over 6 months and it never came because it was hardware related.

For those of you who have the multi-touch issue, I know it is still an unresolved issue, however, having been using my OPO and almost pulling out my hair, by complete fluke / chance I stumbled upon a solution, which is working on my device (and I mean my PHONE!)
For the ones who are still facing this issue, check which theme you're using. I know this might sound silly, but do check.
If it is Hexo (OPO Detauls), please change that to Holo and you could retain the wallpaper, fonts, etc, but change it to HOLO!
Restart the phone, open YAMTT from Google Play Store, and you could run a check again, it should be fixed - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.rn.yamtt&hl=en
Do report out your status / result after the check so that it might help others as well.

Since all my friends phones that where made before 2014.07.15 had the problem and the ones after did not have the problem. I decided to give it an other shot, no yellow tint and no touchscreen problems! Even multitouch is way better in the lat 38R update
My previous phone was made 2014.06.15 and it was terrible nothing fixed it.

I will wait for the 36r, to try it, but im pretty sure it wont change anything. This is so bad that it is really great device has that terrible problem which doesnt allow you to type well, only real slow down typing is less mistakable
