Default [Q] Just about to receive my OPO, what now?

I'm finally moving over to my first android phone (don't ask why it took so long), and want to maximise the utility of my OPO.

I'm new to having an open-source OS on my phone, although am relatively technically savvy and am confident in my ability to safely customise my phone to preference. However all the information on this forum is slightly overwhelming for someone new to this scene. So, if you were receiving an OPO now, what would your first steps be towards having the best phone you can? Preferably with some beginner guides with how to do this.

First thing to do: unlock your bootloader.

It is mandatory to customize your phone. You want to do it as soon as you get it because it needs wiping your internal memory and you don't want to start over once you'll get your phone fully seT.

There are many guides, don't use toolkits but adb and fastboot commands

While you're waiting for your phone you should download and install adb/fastboot and drivers, that way you'll be ready to go when your phone arrives. I have a guide in my signature that will explain it to you.
