You should be able to flash over it no problem just like if it was the stock kernel. You may want to revert any tweaks you have (like voltage, etc.) but it should just replace it all

Is there a fast charge option? (Drawing more power from PC or car charger) Searched the thread, advice was to install device control but device control doesn't show that option.

Any ideas?

Always on iirc, nothing to toggle. . It only draws more power if the source is capable of provided ding the extra... Not all USB ports are capable of providing power beyond spec.
