You can try OptiX, itīs ICS based. After ICS HDMI doenīt work properly.

HDMI works with every Gingerbread or ICS based ROM. So 2.x and 4.0.x

If you are not using Gingerbread or ICS based ROMs this is how HDMI works. There is a picture but it is rotated.

Yes! Can be rotated, but the picture is very small. In TV HDready image is 800x600,
