(...) You see, sequential reads is a big deal on a hard drive but not as big as random reads so on an actual hard drive this would be a MASSIVE improvement, on a static memory all reads are sequential and f2fs has half the performance on sequential reads compared to ext4.
The only file system i'm aware of that would be faster is xfs.

I personally think that every technology has its advantages and disadvantages.
Do not always use the best, but the most optimal.
