Android 5.0 Lollipop for OG?

In the link below, we see leaks of an Android 5.0 Lollipop update for LG G2, carrying the G3 flat UI. Do you think there is a slight possibility of Optimus G receiving a similar update, or has LG forgotten about us?

In fact there are some relases CM 12 and prorted rom for LGOG

Samsung Galaxy note 2 and Sony Xperia Z was released almost simultaneously with the LGOG, and both of these models will be updated to 5.0 Lollipop.
I don't know what brand will be my next phone, but it is not LG

I have read somewhere that lollipop update will not be for devices that were released in 2012. Its kind of google policy that they wont update the devices which 18 month. Thats not confirm bit we can hope for best.

Yeah you both are right but all the device you are talkimg about is pure google device manufactured by lg so google want their devices to be updated ad they have only nexus series. But LG has so many devices so it may be difficult for them to update every device.
But i a disspointed by the developers no develpper tried to port stock lg lollipop to our device. May be in near future we get it

Yeah its sad that devs dont care updating old phones even iphone 4s that released in 2011 got latest ios8 update! Maybe in future im gonna switch to iphone!

Please stop comparing iphone and android. Iphone users are paying for their OS too and Apple earns profit from that. but in Android its not like that, there is no revenue from OS ly and thats the reason LG & other OEMs are not caring about the old devices and they want users to buy new device instead the updated OS. Also KK update which we got has some noticeable bugs which is abandoned completely by LG. So this thread is waste of discussion and we never gonna get LP update for our device and lets pray for devs who are already working on Custom kernel and Custom roms be with us always without abandoning.

The update is availible for korean lg but in case of others we can install it manualy... I would't suggest you to install it manually bcz there are chances that you spoil your OG
