can you ask your friend for a partition contents example for me to have a look and mess around with my phone in the mmcblk0 structure? maybe we can find the required things.
Afther various attempts at finding the aboot partition i think i've found the bugger. I hope @linuxxxx
and his friend port G4A to L7. I do not have L5 but hope fully i will edit the post once again with the steps i took to find the partition. Or if you found the guide and want to know the partition's name, the name is (hopefully this one is because i have compared it with LG G2 and LG G and Pro partition layouts and this one seems to be the aboot) "mmcblk0p5
