[Script] USB Mass Storage (UMS) for LG Optimus L9

I've made script that's on every boot changing default USB mode to UMS.
On USB plug it mounts your External SD (doesn't matter if you have swapped IntSD with ExtSD or not )

Method 1 - init.d script (recommended)
Download:
L9-USB-Mass-Storage_fix___mateo1111.zip (221.4 KB)

Requirements:
- CWM
- init.d support (you can easy enable it with this app: Uni-init v1.0.apk - see original thread)

Installation:
- Flash .zip using CWM
(Select "No" in CWM while rebooting.)

How to remove the script? Just delete /system/etc/init.d/30ums.
Attached Files
File Type: zip L9-USB-Mass-Storage_fix___mateo1111.zip - [Click for QR Code] (221.4 KB, 2405 views)

Method 2 - using SManager app

Download:
Script:
L9-UMS_fix.sh (229 B)

App to execute script:
Script Manager - SManager

Requirements:
- root

Installation:
- Download script and install SManager,
- Copy script to /system/etc/
- Open script in SManager, tick "SU" and "BOOT" (like on screenshot) and press "SAVE".

I've tested it on stock V20B and V20C roms - works great ! (should work on other roms too)

How to remove the script? Just delete /system/etc/init.d/30ums.

OMG. GREAT. Something I wanted since long time. Now I can connect the phone to my LCD TV and BlueRay Player directly in USB mode. Thanks (if works)

If this was possible is such a simple step, why those idiots RESTRICETED it?
=====================
Naaaaah!!!

EDIT: Did not work on P765 V20D Hongkong Rom. Tried all USB modes, but it did not loaded as a drive.

It won't work if you will change USB Mode .
With this script phone on boot is automatically changing usb mode to UMS (UMS is not listed - after connect you should see all positions unchecked)

Now Not working here.

Its strange. I lost 3G connectivity. Is it by any chance related to 3G? May be I am stupid to ask this, but I flashed this and lost 3G. Getting Error 106, internet connection lost.

Edit: It was NOT working here. Typo error)

This script isn't doing anything with 3G.
